Career Tests and Graduate Examinations:

The LearningExpress database has in-depth information on careers, skills training and tests, including the ACT, ASVAB, Civil Service, Cosmetology, EMS, Firefighter, GED, GMAT, GRE, Law Enforcement, Paramedic, PPST, PRAXIS (I, II, and selected others), Real Estate, SAT, United States Citizenship and many more.  To find a specific test, you can browse the categories or enter the name of the test [e.g. PRAXIS] in the Search box in the upper left corner.

You should also check for other print and online resources using Summon and the library catalogs for some of the more specialized, in-depth resources for tests such as the CPA examinations.

Résumé Preparation

For print and online resources on resumés, try using Summon and the library catalogs. The LearningExpress database has some interview and résumé tips.

Other Career Resources:

The Thomas Jefferson Library has a collection of general career resources located in the Reference section on the third floor.  There is also a Careers reference guide.  You may also be able to find resources through Summon and the library catalogs.
