Insurance Coverage

Individuals and off campus organizations are permitted to host events on campus provide they:

  • Sign and return a Facilities and Services Agreement (contract)
  • Follow the policies/procedures the venue(s)
  • Provide a certificate of insurance (COI)

At least 2 weeks prior to the event, you must submit the COI, accompanied with the contract.

If you already have insurance coverage, please have your insurance company send the venue operator a COI with the specifications referred in this document: Requirements & Example COI

If you DO NOT have insurance coverage, you may obtain coverage by contacting an agent/broker.  Same specifications as in the linked document above.  Event Services suggests using:
