Student Optometry Organizations

American Optometric Student Association - The AOSA is theofficial student organization of the American Optometric Association. All optometry students enrolled in the College of Optometry are eligible for membership in the student association.

Beta Sigma Kappa - BSK is the only international honor society for optometry
students.

College of Optometrists in Vision Development - Students enrolled in the professional program are eligible for student membership in COVD.

Fellowship of Christian Optometrists - The purpose of FCO is to encourage Christian optometry students to become involved in mission work, which combines eye care and the furtherance of the gospel.

Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society

Kansas Optometric Student Association - KOSA is the UMSL Student chapter of the Kansas Optometric Association.

Missouri Optometric Student Association - MOSA is the student chapter of the Missouri Optometric Association.

National Optometric Student Association - NOSA is the student chapter of the National Optometric Association whose membership is predominantly minority
optometrists.

Student Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity - SVOSH is a student chapter of the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, an international organization of optometrists providing free vision care to people in impoverished nations.
