L. Weaver, O.D., M.B.A., M.S. Dr. Weaver is the Director of the Clinical Care Group of the American Optometric Association, where he advises members, the media and the public on clinical matters of the profession. He coordinates the activities of the AOA Commission on Ophthalmic Standards, including the AOA Seal of Acceptance program, as well as numerous committees including the Clinical Guidelines Coordinating Committee and Aviation Vision Committee. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Missouri Optometric Association. Colonel Weaver serves as Chief of Optometry of the U.S. Army Reserve as well as Reserve Optometry Consultant to the Surgeon General. At the University of Missouri-St. Louis, he instructs the course on Environmental Vision and teaches in the Primary Care Clinic. He is a Diplomate in Public Health and Environmental Vision of the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Jeffrey
