Members
of the College’s distinguished optometry faculty and student clinicians
staff the MEC, which features two examination stations. The MEC comes equipped
with a wheel chair lift and a third, portable exam station that can be used
to conduct examinations on those with disabilities or patient overflows.

It isn’t the 25-foot clinic’s ability to bring optometry services to the four corners of the Metro St. Louis region that makes it a unique asset for our community. By design it’s the clinic’s ability to offer patients complete vision services. From preliminary vision screenings to detect the first signs of a problem to comprehensive eye examinations, patients can expect to find the same services onboard the MEC as they would in other practice settings. And while the selection is smaller than those found at a private practice, the MEC offers a limited selection of select eyewear. |
