Mission
To serve in an advocacy and advisory capacity for the faculty and administration as they seek to maintain a vibrant professional optometric educational program of excellence.

The Board will pursue the Mission through:

  • Maintaining a diverse, well informed and capable board through effective Board orientation and development
  • Enhancing the awareness and image of the college to the Alumni, Professional and Public communities
  • Resource development for the college by serving as an Advocate fostering partnerships in the public and private arenas
  • Advocacy for initiatives that fulfill the mission of the college including Communication with colleagues and others regarding challenges and opportunities faced by the college
  • Providing feedback on issues that are relevant to the college, private and professional communities
