After several years as adjunct, part-time faculty, Dr. Hutchinson became a full-time faculty member in 2012.  Dr. Hutchinson earned her undergraduate degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University prior to completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry.  She completed her residency training at the St. Louis VA Medical Center.  Dr. Hutchinson's clinical training and interests have focused largely in ocular diseases as well as primary care.  In didactic practice, she co-teaches the Ocular Anatomy & Physiology course as well as contributing to several others.  In 2012, Dr. Hutchinson was commissioned as a Captain into the United States Air Force Reserve.
