Optometry Curriculum

 

The curriculum leading to the Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree is a four-year, full-time program of study. Most courses in the curriculum are required, and, in addition, there is a 3 semester-hour elective requirement prior to starting externships (summer between student's third and fourth year).
