DNP Program Accreditation News
The College of Nursing received the letter of accreditation for the Doctor of Nursing Practice program from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education indicating that the CCNE Board granted full accreditation to the program with all standards met and no compliance concerns. This is a real testament to the extremely hard work of faculty, staff, and students as everyone pulled together to make this new program successful.
Full accreditation for new programs is granted for a maximum period of five years. After that, the program is eligible for ten year renewals, as is the case with the BSN and MSN programs, which were granted continuing full accreditation for ten years in 2010.
