How To Apply

Interested students must submit both an application to the University of Missouri–St. Louis and a supplemental application to the College of Nursing program of choice.

Freshmen or Pre-Clinical Students
If you are currently seeking admission to UMSL as a freshman or pre-clinical transfer student, Apply Now and proceed to the Application for First Time Freshmen and Transfer Students link.
Pre-Licensure BSN Students
If you are seeking clinical admission to one of our Pre-Licensure BSN Options (Traditional Full-Time, Traditional Part-Time, or Accelerated), and you are within one semester of completing your general education coursework, and you have completed the standard UMSL application process, submit the Clinical Application for your option.
RN students seeking a BSN
If you are seeking admission to our RN to BSN Completion Option, Apply Now and submit the Supplemental Application for the RN to BSN Program.
MSN, DNP and PhD Students
If you are seeking admission to our MSN Program, our DNP Program, or our PhD Program, Apply Now and submit the Supplemental Application for the program.

Attention Pre-Licensure Applicants

All applicants to UMSL's College of Nursing should be aware of the minimum admission criteria for the program(s)/option(s) for which they are applying. Please note that submission of an application does not guarantee admission. Admission is competitive, and is contingent on health as evidenced by physical examination and fulfillment of the health and immunization requirements in accord with respective deadlines.

Completion of any of the Pre-Licensure BSN Options does not guarantee eligibility to take the NCLEX-RN licensure exam. Applicants should be aware that license restrictions apply as outlined in the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and the Essential Abilities Requirements.
