Partnerships and Community Connections

The College of Nursing has multiple partnerships within the Health Care Community including:

BJC Health Care System. Students enjoy access to the excellent facilities of BJ Hospital, named one of the top ten hospitals in the country, St Louis Children’s Hospital, Christian Hospitals, BJ West, Missouri Baptist, and BJ St. Peters for clinical activities.

SSM HealthCare. The facilities of DePaul Medical Center and SSM Rehab are utilized for undergraduate learning experiences.

In addition, the College partners with over 138 area schools, primary health care centers and community agencies throughout the metropolitan area for students to participate in a variety of clinical and educational activities.

The College of Nursing is a major provider of the professional nursing workforce in the metropolitan area. The University of Missouri-St. Louis serves the region's needs through research dissemination, technology transfer, cooperative and educational outreach programs, and workforce development.
