Post-Master's Curriculum
Students may be awarded credit for previous MSN core courses based upon successful completion of equivalent courses in their prior master’s program, especially if these courses were completed less than 6 years ago. Courses completed prior to 6 years ago require approval by the Graduate School Dean.

* Advanced practice nurses who are currently certified, recognized as an advanced practice nurse but are interested in getting a second advanced practice certificate may submit a portfolio to receive credit for the following courses: N6509, N6518, N6520, N6524. In addition, partial credit may be achieved through portfolio for the Diagnosis and Management courses. For example, a certified and state-recognized ANP who wishes to get a FNP may be able to get credit for the adult portions of the FNP Diagnosis and Management courses. Decisions regarding NP core credit will be made for each student individually.
