Alumni and Friends

MSN Students in Front of the MSC

Alumni and friends are vital to the success of any academic institution. We are excited to be in the process of developing new programs that will serve, energize and engage UMSL College of Nursing alumni and friends.

  • We want to hear from you!

To let us know about your accomplishments and update your contact information, please complete the Alumni Information Form online.

You can also connect with us on Facebook!

For information on University activities, please visit the UMSL Alumni Website.

  • The College of Nursing has some exciting opportunities for you to join in our 35th Anniversary celebration this year! Two major events you’ll want to put on your calendar are:

    • Thursday, November 10, 2016 we will host our McIntosh Durham Endowed Alumni Lecture on campus. This year Katie Niemeyer, CRNA will share her story “Using the Present to Prepare for the Future: Making a Difference.” Katie is a 1994 alumna of the Barnes College of Nursing and has an inspiring story of how her personal life influenced her nursing career and led her to be an entrepreneur and creator of the Handana.
    • Saturday, May 6, 2017 we will host the 35th Anniversary Brunch and gather to reflect on the impact the College of Nursing has had here in the St. Louis area over the years.

We will also be hosing various events throughout the year intended to allow our students to connect with YOU. We will be organizing sessions for you share your wisdom and experience as our student prepare for the next steps in their careers. From career panels to “Dinner with 12 Tritons,” there are a variety of ways for you to decide how you want to join in the fun!

If you have not already done so, please take a moment to fill out this survey to help us better understand how you would like to connect with fellow alums and students during this year of celebration!

  • The College of Nursing at UMSL is fortunate to be the beneficiary of volunteer support from its alumni and friends. It also depends on the generosity of alumni and friends to make gifts so the College can achieve its constant growth and success beyond what state funds can provide. Your tax deductible gift in any amount is greatly appreciated and will assist the College in its goal of preparing nursing professionals who are qualified to provide excellent care and take leadership roles in any health care environment.
