PLHCSA
The Pierre Laclede Honors College Student Association (PLHCSA) is the student organization of the Honors College. We aim to promote social interactions and relationships between the faculty, staff and students of the Honors College. We accomplish this through our exciting and innovative programs, which help students grow socially and intellectually. We act as a representative for honors students to the honors administration and the university as a whole. Some of our annual events include: Casino Night (poker and other casino games), Get Felt (a billards tournament), and a Crown Candy Kitchen dessert run. Campus involvement during the 2004-2005 school year has greatly increased. PLHCSA students hosted events such as activists workshops and a presentation by Candace Gingrich to encourage youth voter turnout.
