Steps to Apply

 

We are ecstatic that you are interested in applying to the Pierre Laclede Honors College! All students interested in applying to the Honors College must complete the steps below.

Apply to UMSL
To apply to the University of Missouri- St. Louis, please follow the instructions found on the UMSL Office of Admissions web page.

Submit the Honors College Application
The Pierre Laclede Honors College has its own application that must be submitted in addition to UMSL's application for undergraduate admission.

Submit Two Writing Samples
Because the Honors College has a focus on writing, you will need to submit two recent writing samples. These can be essays or papers with or without teacher comments.

Two Letters of Recommendation
Two letters of recommendation will need to be mailed to the Admissions Representative. These letters should come from someone who can speak to you potential as an Honors College student at UMSL.
