Steps to Apply
We are ecstatic you are interested in applying to the
Pierre Laclede Honors College! Whether you are currently a high school junior or senior,
or a college transfer student, this information will help you make a smooth transition
and assist you in applying to the PLHC. Please consider the following
checklist of items and the recommended time they should be completed.
Have you been admitted to the University?
To be a student at the Honors College you must be enrolled at the University.
To apply to the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. You will need to include an application, a $35 application fee,
official ACT or SAT scores (if applicable), and your high school or college
transcript(s). Applying to the University should be completed a few
months before you plan on entering (i.e. Sept-Oct for Winter Semester and
Feb-March for Fall or Summer Semesters). If you have any questions,

Have you applied to the Honors College?
The Pierre Laclede Honors College has its own online application (also available in PDF
format).
In addition to the application, we ask that you submit two essays (previously
written, with or without professors' comments) and two letters of recommendation. This can be completed any time after you have applied to the university.
