Terry Jones
Michael Nye earned his BA in English from The Ohio State University and a MFA in Fiction at UMSL. His stories have been finalists for the Katherine Anne Porter Prize in Fiction, nominated for the AWP Intros Award, Best New American Voices, and the Missouri-St. Louis Graduate Prize in Fiction. His stories have recently appeared in Sou'wester, Thin Air, and Timber Creek Review.
Michael also works at River Styx, St. Louis's oldest independent literary journal, as managing editor, and directs the Summer Writers Institute at Washington University. He teaches courses in composition and creative writing.
