Semester Teaching Faculty
Most honors seminars are taught
by “visiting”
faculty. Most of these hold full-time academic appointments in UM-St.
Louis academic departments and schools. Some are adjunct faculty who
are hired to teach a particular course or courses. All are “volunteers” who
want to teach in honors and, from their expertise, propose courses
which fit the honors curriculum and meet students’ varied graduation
requirements.
