Carol M. Bourne
Charlie Bright is a proud graduate of the PLHC with a Master of Fine Arts degree from UMSL. He teaches the art of fabrication, commonly called fiction writing, at the Honors College. He started educating in 1999, as a teaching assistant for the Math Department, and went into English because there are fewer objectively wrong answers. He believes that nothing is more valuable than the truth, except for a good story.
Charlie occasionally insists that he was born in Prague in 1873, already understanding three languages and playing the fiddle. His favorite things are candy from strangers, comfortable pants, and communing with the studentry. One of these things, his wife insists, will be the end of him. He secretly hopes it isn't the pants."
