Honors Day

Please join us for “Honors Day” at the Pierre Laclede Honors College at the University of Missouri – St. Louis!

The Honors College has many benefits, including:

• Academic and residential scholarships awarded on admission and renewable for all Honors students in good standing, including both freshmen and transfer students
• Instruction entirely in small discussion seminars and one-on-one independent study (student-faculty ratio is 13:1)
• A challenging, engaging curriculum appropriate for any major
• A student body of diverse origins and many interests

This year’s Honors Days will be held on the following dates:

Saturday, October 24th, 2009
Saturday, March 20th, 2010

The day will start at 11:00 am and end at 1:00 pm and will include:

• A meet and greet with our deans, faculty, staff and students
• An informational discussion about the Honors College program, curriculum and scholarship opportunities
• A guided tour of the Honors College and UMSL’s newest dorm— Oak Hall
• A Q&A Session for prospective students and their families
• Plenty of refreshments in a relaxed atmosphere
