Seminar
Each fall, Honors College students enrolled in the Bellerive Workshop receive course credit and also enjoy full participation in multiple phases of the publication process. Seminar students develop individual and collaborative skills as they produce a new issue ofBellerive.
Launch celebration
The new issue of Bellerive is launched at a reception in Provincial House on the last Friday in February. The reception is open to students, faculty, and staff campus wide. This celebration also marks kickoff of submissions collection for the issue that will be produced during the subsequent fall seminar.
Submissions
All UMSL students, faculty, and staff are invited to submit original creative works that have not been previously published. Submissions are accepted through May 31. Bellerive accepts:
Poetry Submit up to 10 poems
Prose Submit up to 4 pieces (each piece 4,000 words or less)
Photography/Art Submit up to 10 digital images (with titles)

Or place your submissions in one of the red boxes located in Provincial House near the Honors College Main Office and on the 4th floor of Lucas Hall near the Department of English offices.
Submissions review is a “blind” process. Submitters’ names are not disclosed during review.
