The Public Administration/Local Government Management Program at The University of Missouri-St. Louis invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level with expertise in the area of Public Administration with an emphasis in local government management. We seek an active scholar oriented to research and publication as well as high quality teaching. We are interested in candidates who can teach graduate and undergraduate courses in budgeting.
The person filling this position will have a joint appointment in the Department of Political Science and the Program in Public Policy Administration (PPA). The Department of Political Science offers a Ph.D. in Political Science and has an undergraduate BS/PPA program as well. Public Policy Administration is a hybrid program with courses in both public policy and public administration and offers a Master’s degree. PPA is an interdisciplinary program and all of its faculty members hold joint appointments with other academic units. PPA is accredited by NASPAA.
