Master of Public Policy Administration Degree Program at Ft. Leonard Wood

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Students will complete the normal UM-St. Louis Graduate School application. This form is available and can be submitted electronically.

NOTE --WHEN STUDENTS SUBMIT THEIR APPLICATIONS, THEY SHOULD BEGIN THEIR REQUIRED PERSONAL STATEMENTS (#28) BY INDICATING, IN ALL CAPS, THAT THEY ARE APPLYING TO THE MPPA PROGRAM AT FT. LEONARD WOOD.

  • Students are required to submit three letters of recommendation. Forms for these letters are available at the admissions website referenced above.
  • Students are required to have the undergraduate school from which they received their degree submit a transcript directly to UM-St. Louis. If students have undergraduate degree credits from more than one institution, we normally require transcripts from all such institutions. For the ECCC program, we will accept just the final, degree-completing transcript, if it lists all undergraduate work counted toward that degree, even if taken elsewhere.
  • No GRE scores are required for this program, but they should be sent if the GRE has been taken.
  • Students with undergraduate GPA's above 3.0 qualify for regular admission. Students with undergraduate GPA's between 2.5 and 3.0 qualify for restricted admission. This requires students to maintain at least a 3.0 average in courses taken during ECCC.
  • Students with undergraduate GPA's below 2.5 require special approval from the Dean of the UM-St. Louis Graduate School to qualify for restricted admission. UM-St. Louis intends to treat acceptance into the ECCC as evidence that students will be able to successfully complete the MPPA program.
