Graduate School Committees


Admissions and Scholarship Committee
The Admissions and Scholarship Committee prepares and sets the date for receipt of proposals for the Doctoral Dissertation Fellowships and Summer Research Fellowships (Master's and Doctoral), and recommends award of the fellowships to the Graduate Council. This committee also handles grade appeals and appeals of students who have been denied admission or dismissed.

Curriculum and Instruction Committee
The Curriculum and Instruction Committee reviews all graduate level courses for additions, deletions, or changes, including review for overlap and duplication of courses. The committee reports to the Graduate Council, and approved reports are forwarded to the Senate. 

Program Development Committee
The Program Development Committee reviews new degree programs, emphasis areas or changes in degree requirements. The committee reports to the Graduate Council, and approved reports are forwarded to the Senate. 

Rules and Regulations Committee
The Rules and Regulations Committee reviews issues concerning changes, additions or deletions to the existing Graduate School Rules and Regulations. The committee reports to the Graduate Council, and approved reports are forwarded to the Graduate Faculty.
