Music! Words! Opera!
is a national curriculum for grades K-12.
In addition to exploring some of the greatest operas ever composed, each level of the curriculum is perfect for interdisciplinary study, joining various content areas such as language arts, social studies, science, mathematics, English, and fine arts together with music. The Level II workshop
for grades 3-8 will explore Puccini's classic tragedy Madame Butterfly.
A Level II M!W!O! Teacher's Manual is required for the course and may be purchased through OPERA America at www.operaamerica.org/audiences/k12/mwo/purchase.html.
