The Community Partnership Project is a cooperative effort of University of Missouri Extension and the University of Missouri-St. Louis designed to develop community partnership initiatives that link University resources with the needs and priorities of residents and communities in the St. Louis region.

Community Partnership Project Objectives:

  1. Convene and/or facilitate teams to respond to opportunities to connect the university and the community and address key metropolitan issues.

  2. Support and/or host conferences, workshops, and seminars that focus on key metropolitan issues and familiarize the community with university research and resources.

  3. Offer educational programs, technical assistance, and community facilitation services for community-based initiatives, in cooperation with appropriate community partners.

  4. Provide support for faculty and students in community-based learning efforts, including connecting courses with community issues or partners and facilitating student projects in community-based settings.

  5. Build connections and collaborations with and among campus and extension outreach and partnership projects.
