The Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Education works to increase the quantity and enhance the quality of entrepreneurship and economics taught in K-12 classrooms through teacher education and curriculum development. Teacher education consists of credit courses, both at the undergraduate and graduate level, as well as teacher workshops.

The center is affiliated with the Missouri Council on Economic Education and the National Council on Economic Education and is part of a national network of economists and educators dedicated to increasing economic understanding.

Children's Advocacy Services of Greater St. Louis

Children's Advocacy Services of Greater St. Louis provides forensic interviews, medical exams, and ongoing treatment for children ages 3-17 who have been sexually abused. The organization's mission is to "improve the St. Louis community's response to child sexual abuse."

The Center for the Humanities

The Center for the Humanities has two central objectives: to provide visibility and focus for humanities activities at UM-St. Louis and to attract and channel resources for the support of interdisciplinary humanistic inquiry. The Center sponsors a variety of conferences, symposiums, and lectures, including the What Is a City? conference, which examines the structure and social environment of cities and their effects on social and cultural diversity, and the Monday Noon Series, which features a variety of humanistic lectures and musical performances.

Microcomputer Program

The Microcomputer Program has been teaching the St. Louis community essential computer skills through the Chancellor's Certificate Computer Classes since 1982. Classes are held at the West County Computer Center, 1715 Deer Tracks Trail, near Interstate 270 and Manchester Road, and at the UM-St. Louis J.C. Penney Conference Center computer lab. Classes are offered in software applications, Web development, graphics, image editing, networking, routers, operating systems, programming, security, and other topics.
