- Fill out an application for admission to University of Missouri - St. Louis. This can be done online or by filling out an application obtained from the Admissions Office by calling (314) 516-UMSL.
- If you are taking these courses to qualify for the CFP(TM) exam and you don't seek to earn a degree, you should apply as a non-degree seeking undergraduate student.
- Choose your classes. To be eligible to sit for the CFP(TM) exam, you must successfully complete the following seven courses:

|FINANCE 3561||Principles of Insurance|
|FINANCE 3563||Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits|

The semester schedule is available on-line on the course schedule in MyView. The courses listed above are not all offered every semester. It's important that you take them when they are available.
Once you are admitted, register for your classes. This can be done on-line through MyView or in person at either the Registration Office or at the College of Business Administration Academic Advising Office (487 SSB).
