• Development of a comprehensive analytical model for implementation of MIS strategic plans. This mathematical programming model, developed for the information services division of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, considers the portfolio of system development projects in an MIS strategic plan and helps to determine the best combination of full-time staff, contract workers and outsourcing to accomplish the necessary work in connection with ongoing computer applications and systems development.
  • The Center led a 25-member team in the development of a comprehensive strategic plan for municipal information systems in the City of St. Louis. Working with committees and representatives of 140 City departments and subdivisions, the team developed a strategic planning methodology that encompasses business data processing, management information systems, computer technology, and geographic information systems.
