Entry-level Computer Programmer/Analyst

Opportunities exist for entry level Programmer/Analysts in our Information Technology Departments. Development in an Information Technology department follows defined methodologies and processes using state of the art tools as they develop system and software solutions. Duties could include: requirements definition, system design, coding, testing, production implementation, production system support, user support, and documentation of both internally developed and commercial off-the-shelf software. Qualified individuals will work in teams with application users, other programmers, analysts, architects, and support personnel to improve the product and ensure customer satisfaction. Positions exist on application teams in the following areas: client/server, web, mainframe, and networking.

Programming experience in at least one of the following languages is a definite plus: C, C++, Java, COBOL, and FORTRAN. Experience with Windows 95/98/NT/2000, UNIX, and/or MVS is a plus. A successful candidate will have demonstrated a commitment to teamwork, good written and oral communication skills, and the ability to take initiative.

BS in MIS, CIS, CS, Math, Business, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required. 3.0/4.0 GPA required.
