Competency Exam
| The goal of the Special Section of BA 1800 is to cover more material, and cover it in
more depth than specified by the syllabus in the other sections. In order to be sure
that students are prepared for this accelerated coverage, we offer a "competency exam" that
covers the materials we expect students to have already mastered. This is a "hands on" test that requires students to
demonstrate their competencies. The exam takes a maximum of 75 minutes, and is provided only at the
following times.

You may "preregister" to take the exam at one of the stated times by completing this simple form. Or,
you can just show up at the appointed times. However, a maximum of 14 exams will be given each time,
and preference goes to those students who have preregistered. Once the workstations are filled, all non-assigned
students will be turned away.
Students are STRONGLY encouraged to preregister for one of the sections the exam below.
ALL competency exams will be given in the Advanced IS Laboratory, 200 CCB, but only at the specified times.
If the room is not open when you arrive, wait near the sign labeled "1800 Competency Exam."
