Our nearly 400 students complement their business core classes with information technology classes to gain a solid foundation in the social and technical design, development, implementation, management, and security of information systems. Their strength lies in their ability to apply the knowledge of information systems and technology to help organizations streamline current business operations as well as sustain competitive advantage by leveraging technology assets.
With specialties in Business Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Systems Development, and Legacy Systems, our students are well-versed with the increasingly complex and heterogeneous technology landscape. With their strong business and communication skills, our students can make an immediate impact on the organizations they join after graduating from UMSL.
