IV) Electives (minimum 9 hours)
The maximum program length for students without a recent business background is 54 hours. MBA students must complete a minimum of 9 hours of electives. The total number of elective courses required will depend on the number of hours waived. Students must take at least 39 hours to earn the degree. Students must take at least one course in each of the functional areas while in the MBA program at UM-St. Louis.
