The Women’s Yellow Pages and the Executive Leadership Institute are partnering to put on a networking breakfast and workshops for mid-level women entrepreneurs, i.e., women who are solidly established in their businesses yet require further contacts and experiential knowledge of other business people and professionals. Additionally, it is an opportunity for participants to basically exchange and share information to advance their particular businesses.

Bio of the Keynote Speaker
Nancy T. Kinney, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Political Science and Public Policy Administration at the University of Missouri, St. Louis, and teaches in the university’s Nonprofit Management and Leadership program. Her research focuses on government funding and religious organizations, as well as the role of faith groups in community well-being. She has conducted evaluation research for foundations and community organizations, with a particular emphasis on assessing outcomes from faith-based and grassroots programs. As an educator and consultant, Dr. Kinney brings more than 20 years of experience as an administrative practitioner in the field of nonprofit and voluntary organizations. She has received research awards from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as well as the University’s Public Policy Research Center (PPRC) and Center for International Studies (CIS).
In 2007, she helped to launch the Center for Ethics in Public Life at the University, an initiative funded in part by the Missouri State Legislature to advance the highest principles of ethical behavior in public service. She is currently co-chairing the search for the Center’s permanent staff.
