The mission of the University of Missouri St. Louis Executive Leadership
Institute is to prepare business students (the institute's primary constituents)
to become effective leaders to meet current and future demands in response
to regional, state, national and international needs.
A direct relationship will be cultivated between the Executive Leadership Institute and businesses large and small. What business leaders consider as important leadership attributes and skills for young professionals will be the crux of discourses and interactions. These exchanges will shape the activities and programs of the institute to optimize success of UMSL business graduates in the world of work and better prepare them for future leadership positions.
