Mr. Robert L. Samuelson
Director of FinanceRobert Samuelson is Director Finance International Contracts and Pricing, for Boeing’s Integrated Defense Systems. He is responsible for the coordination and integration of all international business activities supporting military procurements for the Boeing Company. These activities include preparation, review, and approval of proposals, prime contract negotiations, industrial participation finance support, and foreign and domestic consultant administration.
Mr. Samuelson joined McDonnell Douglas in January 1977 in the Engineering Planning and Administration department. While at McDonnell Douglas and, subsequently, Boeing, he has held various management positions in Business Operations, Contracts, Overhead Management, and Finance. Mr. Samuelson was named the Director of Financial Planning for the Aircraft and Missile Division in July 1999, a position he held until January 2001. In 2001 Mr. Samuelson was assigned the position of Controller for Aero Vodochody ( Prague , Czech Republic ) a Boeing joint venture company; he also acted as the Business Management Advisor to the Aero Vodochody Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Samuelson returned to the U.S. and was named Director Finance International Contracts & Pricing for Boeing’s Aircraft Missile Division in February 2002.
Mr. Samuelson is the Boeing Executive focal to the University of Missouri – St. Louis , and serves on the Leadership Council for the University School of Business Administration. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Coro Leadership of St. Louis, a member of the St. Louis Sports Commission, and Backstoppers.
Mr. Samuelson has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and a Masters in Management from Maryville University .
