James V. Regna
President and CEO
My name is James V. Regna. I was born on November 6, 1963 in St. Louis, Mo where I have remained a life long resident. I graduated from Rosary High School in 1982 and then attended University of Missouri-St. Louis graduating in May 1987. I began my career as a branch management Trainee at the former Community Federal Savings and Loan. In 1989 I left CFSL and went to work at the Missouri Division of Finance (DOF) as a bank examiner, which was a great learning experience and has a wonderful foundation for my banking career. While there I achieved my Commissioned Bank Examiner certificate.
In 1994 I left the DOF to work for Enterprise Bank starting out as an assistant vice president-lending. I became a vice president in 1997 and eventually left to become the Chief Credit Officer at Commercial Bank. In 2001 I returned to Enterprise Bank for four wonderful years before pursuing my life long ambition of starting my own bank. In October of 2005 I along with a group of investors launched Triad Bank. We have had a great amount of success providing banking services to medium to small privately held businesses.
We have also looked at ways to give back to the St. Louis area. In June of 2009 we launched our first annual food drive benefiting the St. Louis Food Bank. In December 2008 we hosted our own Toys for Tots campaign collecting toys for under privileged children. Our most recent endeavor is St. Louis Kids Kick in for the Kids of Haiti. This is an organization of St. Louis business leaders who are collecting second hand soccer and baseball equipment for the kids of Haiti, most of them have lost everything, including their parents.
I am on the finance committee of the Jewish Community Center, a member of the golf committee of the Franciscan Sisters, and on the Board of the Allergy and Asthma Center. My wife Karen and I are members of St. Albans and Norwood Hills Country Club. My daughter and son are having a wonderful time learning the game of golf. My wife and I are members of the Jewish Community Center where we enjoy working out on a regular basis
