Top 10 Business Alumni Awards
About the Award
Established in January
2006 by the UMSL College of Business Alumni Chapter, the Top 10 Business
Alumni project is a monthly award that salutes outstanding alumni from
the University of Missouri-Louis College of Business Administration programs.
Recipients selected are featured as "Alum(s) of the Month,"
and receive prominent recognition on the College’s opening webpage.
The monthly feature introduces some of the College’s most achieved
alumni and showcases their professional accomplishments since leaving
UMSL. Each quarter, awardees are invited to an informal lunch in their
honor to encourage further dialogue and involvement in UMSL and its student
body.
Eligibility
Eligibility as a Top 10 Business Alum award is open to all College of
Business Administration graduates, either undergraduate or graduate. Previous
recipients of this award are ineligible for further consideration.
Criteria for Nominees
The award committee will consider a broad range of alumni nominations
that exemplify notable career achievements, pride for UMSL, and/or service
to the community. Additional characteristics that may be considered include
one or more of the following:
- Demonstrates ethical practices within their business relationships
- Exudes passion for their career field and a commitment to outstanding leadership
- Exemplifies the values of the University of Missouri-St. Louis
- Exhibits exceptional professional accomplishments since graduating from the university
- Has a record of community service, including service to the University.
Nomination Process
Nominations for the Top 10 Business Alumni monthly recognition will be
accepted through the 15th for each month. Award selections will be made
from the pool of nominations received by deadline.
