About this Award
Do you know outstanding University
of Missouri-St. Louis business alums who deserve recognition?
The University of Missouri-St.
Louis Business Alumni Chapter is currently seeking nominations for its 2013
Salute to Business Achievement Awards. The
award recognizes alumni of the College of Business Administration who have
demonstrated exceptional personal and professional accomplishments to the
University, their profession and/or their community.
Our goal is to recognize alumni
in a variety of career stages including retired alumni. We are considering Rising Stars, Entrepreneurial Spirits, Outstanding Leaders and Distinguished Career Achievers, among others.
Criteria:
All alumni of the College of
Business Administration are eligible to be nominated. Nominations may be submitted by an
individual, organization, association, corporation, partnership, church or
institution. Each winner will be
selected on the basis of achievement or contribution in three or more of the
following areas:
- Professional
leadership or career accomplishments
- Outstanding
service to UMSL and/or its business alumni
- Financial
success and economic innovation
- Social
improvement to major contemporary problems
- Philanthropic
contribution or voluntary service
- Politics
or government service
- Legal
reform
- Corporate,
scientific or technological contributions
- Academic
leadership or accomplishments
- Athletic
or artistic accomplishment
Rules:
- Each
nominee must be a University of Missouri– St. Louis College of Business
Administration degree holder.
- All information
to be considered must be included
with an official nomination form. Information submitted should include a detailed statement of the nominee's qualifications, leadership contributions,
a detailed biography of the nominee and the reasons why you believe the
individual deserves special recognition.
- Nominations
must be received by February 1, 2013.
