Dan Lauer is the creator and licensor of Water Babies®, The Most Realistic Baby Ever!™ Water Babies is the second longest, second best selling baby doll with over 17 million sold in 17 years.
Mr. Lauer, a banker by trade, left as Vice President of Royal banks of Missouri in 1989 to develop the product from an idea (a childhood memory of sisters playing with water balloon dolls) to the best selling doll in 1991. Based on the results, a landmark license agreement ensued and the rest is history. For 2008, Wild Planet Toys (www.wildplanet.com) plans a major re-branding and launch.
