John Russell graduated Cum Laude from the University of Missouri in 1979 with a BA in business administration.
New York City and St. Louis are both home to John. In addition to managing money while in NYC, John has also assisted in producing several shows on Broadway. (Hair, Finnians Rainbow, Lombardi, Priscilla Queen of the Desert and End of the Rainbow) Currently he is involved with Glengary Glenross, Evita and Kinky Boots (opening this fall).
Mr. Russell currently serves as a board member of Doorways (Vice Chairman), Shakespeare Festival, Leigh Gerdine College of Fine Arts at Webster University, Opera Theatre, Help PSI (Chairman) and is a commissioner for the Regional Arts Commission. His past board affiliations include the Kevin Kline awards, Stages, Springboard and Food Outreach.
John Russell is a 34-year securities industry veteran and has been with Stifel Nicolaus for the majority of his career. He is currently a Senior Vice President/Investments and the Branch Manager for the Clayton, Missouri, 1st floor office for Stifel. John has been a Chairman’s Council member for the past 29 years.
Within the last few years, John has created and led the Russell Wealth Management Group. Managing clients’ financial needs and assisting them in pursuing their goals is the focus of the group. By providing clients with exceptional customer service, putting together a solid investment plan, and following through with long-term objectives, John’s team is able to help their clients pursue their financial targets.
John holds his securities representative (Series 7 & 63), investment advisor representative (Series 65), securities sales supervisor (Series 8), and securities principal (Series 24) licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, as well as his life insurance license.
