Don Imholz and Associates
Leadership Council Member
Don Imholz manages his own consulting company working for clients across a variety of industries. He is a Board Advisor for Unigroup, Inc. and works with several other Boards. He specializes in advising on Information Technology (IT), Cybersecurity, and Operations. Previously, Don was Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the Centene Corporation from September 2008 until year-end 2015 when he retired. At Centene, he was responsible for all of IT as well as several corporate shared service operations such as Claims Processing
Before his appointment at Centene, Don worked 30+ years for McDonnell Douglas and then Boeing Company in a wide variety of assignments inside and outside of IT. Positions included being CIO for all of Boeing Integrated Defense Systems; and global responsibility for application development and support for all of Boeing – commercial, defense, and space.
Don Imholz holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Missouri in St. Louis, and was honored with the UMSL College of Business Administration Distinguished Alumni Award. He also holds a master’s degree in information systems management and an executive master’s degree in business administration, both from Washington University in St. Louis. Don was honored as a Distinguished Alumni from the Olin Business School of Washington University in 2016.
Don Imholz is currently on the Leadership Council UMSL Business School, and has served on the Information Systems Advisory Board for the same school. He is also on the board and is past chairman of the board of directors for the Center for the Application of Information Technology, and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Masters of Information Management Program for Washington University. Imholz is also on the board of directors for the Family Forward, a non-profit organization providing a broad range of social services in the St. Louis area, and has served on the Saint Louis Zoo Board as well as other non-profit agencies.
