Daniel RustDaniel L. Rust is the Assistant Director of the Center for Transportation Studies and is an Assistant Teaching Professor in Logistics and Operations Management Department of the College of Business Administration, overseeing the undergraduate Transportation Studies program.  He earned his PhD from the University of Idaho in 2003.  His research interests include commercial passenger aviation, safety regulation in the inland barge industry, women in operational roles within the transportation industry, and intermodal transportation.  Dr. Rust teaches Introduction to Transportation; Traffic and Transportation Management; Aviation in American Life; and Transportation Safety, Security and Disaster Preparedness.
