My teaching interests include: Social Problems, Intro to
Sociology, Sociology of the Family, Sociology of Work, Gender Roles in
Contemporary Society, and Globalization.
Sociology gives individuals an opportunity to objectively examine the
world in which we live in the hopes of escaping a "false consciousness"
- that is - a lack of awareness and a distorted perception of the
reality of social creations as it affects all aspects of social life.
