Dr. Bucur received her Ph.D. in Applied Cognitive Aging Psychology from The University of Akron in 2003 and then completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for the Study of Aging and Human Development at Duke University Medical Center. Her research involves investigating normal, age-related declines in memory and attention in healthy older adults (ages 60 and older), along with possible mediators of this relationship. Volunteer positions and 3390 course credit opportunities are available in Dr. Bucur’s Cognition and Aging Research Laboratory (CARL).
