Community Outreach Activities

The staff of the Center for Trauma Recovery are available for a variety of outreach services including:

Center staff can provide counseling following a natural disaster, mass tragedy or accident. This counseling can be provided on a group or individual level.
Licensed staff of the Center can perform forensic evaluations for posttraumatic stress disorder. These evaluations can be used in litigation or disability claims.
The Center sponsors Fall and Spring colloquium series on trauma-related topics. These colloquia do meet some professional continuing education requirements. Please email us at CTR@umsl.edu with your pertinent information for inclusion on our colloquia mailing list.
The staff of the Center for Trauma Recovery are happy to consider requests for on-air interviews, print interviews, or training sessions for the community.
