The department offers a minor in psychology to students with special interest in this field but who major in another discipline. A minor in psychology is particularly useful for students majoring in the other social sciences or in business administration. Requirements for the minor include a minimum of 15 hours of coursework in psychology, including at least six hours of 300-level psychology courses. Candidates must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better in the minor. Psychology courses taken on a satisfactory/unsatisfactory basis may not be applied to the minor.
