Paul, Ph.D., ABPP/ABCN
Dr.
Paul obtained his Ph.D. in Biological Psychology from the University of Oklahoma
Health Science Center. He concurrently completed a re-specialization program in
Clinical Psychology at Oklahoma State University through a Parallel Training
Program. Dr. Paul subsequently completed a clinical internship and postdoctoral
fellowship in Neuropsychology at Brown Medical School. He is Board-Certified in
Clinical Neuropsychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology and he
remains active in adult clinical neuropsychology and forensic neuropsychology.
He also maintains an active research program that has been funded continuously
by the National Institutes of Health since 1999. Dr. Paul's research program is
largely focused on understanding the contribution of subcortical brain systems
to cognitive and affective behavior, particularly in the context of human
immunodeficiency virus and subcortical ischemic vascular disease.
