Giving to the Department
Gifts to the Department of Psychology from friends and alumni are an
extremely important department resource. These gifts are used to support
the education of many students through scholarship awards.
Your tax-deductible gift in any amount is greatly appreciated and will
assist the Department in its goals of providing students with a high
quality education and the ability to conduct important research.
There are many ways to give to the department. Gifts to the Department
of Psychology may include:
- Cash support
- Stock and bonds
- Equipment and software, and other “in-kind” gifts
- Bequests
and trusts
- Scholarship endowments
Any unspecified gifts to the department are credited to our General
Alumni Fund and are used to support alumni activities, undergraduate
and graduate scholarships, and student research. If you wish to contribute
to one our named scholarships,

- Lew Sherman Memorial Scholarship
- John J. Boswell Memorial Scholarship
- Gary K. Burger Fellowship
