Jessica Salamon

Jessica Salamon received her English BA from UMSL in 2012. Life as an undergraduate had Jessica acquainted with the entire campus, as she participated at the Pierre Laclede Honors College and took classes on both the North and South campus. Jessica has always loved the campus and was thrilled to be a part of the College of Arts and Sciences Academic advising office in April 2013. Working at the front desk, Jessica also helps with special projects in technology advances, conference room preparation and helping all students find their way around the university campus in her role as Office Support Staff III.

During her time as an undergraduate, Jessica worked in several positions around her hometown of Ferguson, Missouri.  Jessica’s love for helping others learn developed while working at Ferguson Municipal Library, where she was a circulation and technical assistant to patrons. Jessica believes that no matter what background a person has, the power to fulfill their wildest dreams is in their reach by dedication and hard work.

Jessica likes to keep as busy as she can, wanting to increase her knowledge in all areas of technology, writing, and education; and hopes to one day make a difference in people’s lives.
